Renovators told to brace for two-year wait and 20pc cost blow-outs

Home renovators are being urged to brace for their projects being delayed by up to two years and costs blowing out by at least 20 per cent as the strong demand and chronic shortage of skilled labour and materials intensifies.
Sydney-based builder Trent Clark of Red Cedar Construction said the business has started to turn clients away as the backlog of projects piles up.
