Ransomware group claims attack on valuer HTW

Herron Todd White appears to be the victim of a ransomware attack, with a group called Black Suit claiming on the dark web to have “a list of documents of great value” in its possession about the privately owned property valuation firm.

Black Suit said on its website on the dark web – a largely anonymous internet network not accessible through normal browsers – that it had 279 gigabytes of data from HTW, which was “just paperwork, no trash”, and 20 gigabytes of customer and transaction databases.
