Noosa record set as Metricon family buys designer hinterland home

The director of Australia’s largest home builder, Metricon’s Ross Palazzesi, and his wife Jennifer have paid $11.2 million for a designer home in the Sunshine Coast hamlet of Doonan, setting a Noosa hinterland record.

The couple have just taken the keys to the ultra-contemporary retreat called Whipbird, a brutalist-inspired mansion set on a 0.8-hectare ridgeline block overlooking the Noosa hinterland east to the ocean.
