Land tax revamp will capture investor interest, says SA treasurer

A troublesome land tax overhaul, which has finally been given the green light after five months of wrangling in South Australia, will add to the appeal of property investment in the state, says Treasurer Rob Lucas.
The revamp of land tax on July 1, 2020, reduces the top land tax rate from 3.7 per cent to 2.4 per cent, the equal of the average of the mainland states.
