Harold Mitchell’s penthouse – combining five apartments – hits the market
The Melbourne CBD apartment of late advertising legend Harold Mitchell, AC is up for sale, less than a month after the businessman and philanthropist was farewelled by some of Victoria’s most prominent identities at a state funeral on May 13. Mitchell died in February at 81.
Located on Spring Street, the four-bedroom apartment had been Mitchell’s Melbourne base for the past two decades and is an amalgamation of five apartments across the entire 11th floor and half the 10th floor, within one of Melbourne’s first residential towers built in 1970.
