Brisbane homeowners are pouring millions of dollars into renovating their properties, taking advantage of historic low interest rates and rising property values.
The latest building approval data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed Brisbane spent $206.6 million on home renovations during the June quarter alone, a 16.3 per cent increase on the previous quarter.
