Thomas Foods International, the family company of Rich Lister Chris Thomas, has purchased Cooma Park, a 2762-hectare farming property in south-eastern South Australia, in a move that increases its access to an increasingly significant resource – underground water entitlements.
The price was not disclosed, but industry sources said the company paid about $5 million.
