A 114-bay car park up for grabs in the heart of the Sydney CBD could prove to be the lynchpin in a development scramble underway around the new metro station slated for Hunter Street.

Major developers such as Milligan and ASX-listed Mirvac as well as hospitality giant Merivale all have skin in the game in the neighbourhood and may take an interest the car park at 109 Pitt Street.
