Ross Pelligra plans $1b property play for Perth Glory

Perth Glory soccer club owner Ross Pelligra plans to spend $1 billion on developing a mixed-use precinct with training fields and a mini stadium, which will be funded by commercially run medical suites, a hotel, office and build-to-rent residential accommodation in the WA capital.

Pelligra says he has been shortlisted for “a couple” of sites, but declined to give further detail. The training facilities are urgently needed for junior teams to feed the professional team he acquired for $1, after it fell into receivership in 2023 and former owner Tony Sage handed back its licence to the A-League.
