More workers return to CBD offices, but only for a few days a week
The return to the office is accelerating across Australia’s largest capital cities after stuttering in April with all major CBD markets recording a sharp jump in office occupancy through May - but overall worker numbers are significantly lower than they were one year ago.
The Property Council of Australia’s latest Office Occupancy survey revealed an average 30 per cent rise in monthly office occupancy levels across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide.
