Lendlease is in exclusive talks with the Rich Lister Werdiger family to acquire a Collins Street tower and a second building behind it, in a $300 million deal that buys into the revival of the Melbourne CBD.

Making the play is a $1.5 billion opportunity fund put together last year by Lendlease whose purpose is to tap into market disruption, latching onto assets where there are returns to be found in adding value.
