The owners of Sydney’s luxury Langham hotel are considering suing one of the country’s largest real estate groups, alleging a major development in Barangaroo will block its sweeping harbour views and send its guests looking for other accommodation.

The stoush over the development, known as Central Barangaroo and being built by Aqualand, is the latest in a string of disputes that has dogged the project – which has been unable to obtain approval to begin construction – for years.
