Financial Review Rich Lister Tim Gurner and his new equity partner Qualitas will breathe fresh life into Newmark Capital’s stalled Jam Factory project after striking a deal to jointly redevelop the historic Chapel Street retail landmark into a $1.4 billion mixed-use precinct.
Under revised plans, the project will include a 170-room hotel and between 550 and 650 apartments and a much smaller office component.
