A wave of high-rise apartment development is taking off around central Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market, with well-known player Golden Age the latest on the scene, winning approval for a 21-storey tower in the middle of the emerging precinct.
At 450 Queen Street, the Bates Smart-designed building will offer 145 apartments, two levels of retail, and a terrace on the fifth floor.
