Australian Unity office fund wins suitors

The $410 million ASX-listed Australian Unity Office Fund has snared interest from several suitors for a potential buy-out after adopting a strategy to sell down assets or even embrace a full privatisation.

The abrupt about-face in the listed fund’s growth path came in January after an ambitious plan to merge the office fund with an unlisted commercial property also run by Australian Unity to create a $1.1 billion portfolio was scuppered by investors.
