‘Simply wrong’: Andrews hits back over Indigenous firms scandal

Daniel Andrews has hit back at Warren Mundine after the former Labor national president blasted the Victorian government for “washing its hands” of allegations that the CFMEU has been illegally forcing Indigenous firms off state infrastructure projects, labelling his comments “simply wrong”.

The Australian Financial Review reported last week that Deputy Premier Jacinta Allan was briefed last year that the CFMEU had kicked an unnamed Indigenous firm off at least nine state infrastructure projects, but she failed to deal with the matter.
