Saving Melbourne from Labor’s planning regime is not selfish NIMBY-ism

The city is at a crossroads: more homes, yes, but in a way that risks losing what makes Melbourne worth living in.

Melbourne has long sold itself as a city of culture, parks, Victorian architecture and coffee. But beneath the city’s rosy appearance, something more troubling is playing out.

Since the Andrews era, and now with the Allan government at the helm, Victoria has become addicted to population growth and the sweet promises of developers.
