NSW rail workers to get $4500 in deal to end long-running dispute

NSW rail workers will receive a $4500 bonus payment as part of a new deal brokered by the Perrottet government in a bid to end the long-running dispute, which has wrought chaos across the state’s train network.

The NSW government has also agreed to have the Combined Rail Union’s wage claims arbitrated by the Fair Work Commission in what the union terms a breakthrough and a major win for workers after months of fighting.
