Labor has promised an about-face on class actions reform after the next election, with shadow attorney-general Mark Dreyfus saying it will only act “in the best interests of plaintiffs”.
Mr Dreyfus said the Morrison government had taken a “hostile” approach to claims run by litigation funders and that would change under an Albanese government.
