A parliamentary committee assessing the merits of transforming a key Sydney racecourse into a mini-city to help ease the housing crisis has urged the NSW Upper House to consider investigating allegations of illegal activity in thoroughbred racing.
Racing NSW chief executive Peter V’landys slammed the opposition-controlled committee, saying its final report into Premier Chris Minns’ plan to redevelop Rosehill into a 25,000-home project had become too personal.
