The broadly uncontested issue of women’s reproductive rights has been thrust to the centre the Queensland election campaign, forcing poll-leading Opposition Leader David Crisafulli to repeatedly deny he has any intention to repeal abortion laws if elected.
With two weeks until polls close, Liberal-National Party leader Mr Crisafulli was bombarded on Friday for the fifth consecutive day over the issue and repeated that repealing pregnancy termination laws were “not part of our plan”.
