IMF backs the need for policy certainty on climate change

Labor has received a late boost to its energy policy plans to be released on Thursday with the International Monetary Fund saying Australia needed policy certainty on emissions reduction.
"Energy policy should further reduce uncertainty for investment decisions," the IMF said in its annual assessment of the Australian economy released on Tuesday.
