Women elders stage last-minute Voice intervention
Alice Springs | Women elders have staged an extraordinary intervention in the Voice to parliament debate, imploring voters to reject confusion and division from the No campaign and allow elderly and marginalised leaders to be heard for the first time.
Hundreds of locals gathered in Alice Springs’ Todd Mall for a hastily organised rally on Wednesday, hearing speeches from Central Land Council leaders, traditional owners, domestic violence workers and young people.
