Western Australia has joined the rest of the country in ditching mask mandates for most indoor venues and proof of vaccination requirements, as the state further eased COVID-19 restrictions down to “baseline settings”.
“I’m sure this will be a great relief to many,” Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson said on Tuesday, adding masks “can and should” still be worn by people who remain concerned or are more vulnerable.
