The Greens and the Coalition will be punished by voters for holding up moves to rebalance Australians’ housing market, Labor’s Clare O’Neil says, accusing the parties of blocking moves to make the country a fairer place.

Preparing for a pre-Christmas fight on roadblocks over the government’s shared equity legislation, Ms O’Neil used a speech in Melbourne to hit back on what she called an “unholy alliance” between the parties.
