Vic government must slash millions spent on consultants to save jobs

The Community and Public Sector Union has urged the Victorian government to slash the $177 million spent on consultants in the last financial year, up from $59 million in financial 2015, to save core public servant jobs which are now under threat.

Daniel Andrews, with Li Xikui, vice president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, last week, has warned that the May budget will  be “challenging”.
