Vic gas backflip may be too little, too late: business, Libs

Business and the state opposition has welcomed the Victorian Labor government’s backflip on gas but fears it may be to little, too late to solve the state’s burgeoning energy needs.

After the state’s strident anti-gas Energy Minister Lily D’Ambrosio approved Victoria’s first new gas project in a decade, and left open the option of approving more exploration permits, business was appreciative but underwhelmed.
