‘Untrue’: Labor senators deny bullying Kimberley Kitching

A denial by Labor’s Senate leadership team that it bullied or ostracised Kimberley Kitching has failed to quell internal unrest, with friends of the late senator demanding Anthony Albanese institute some form of review.

Senators Penny Wong, Kristina Keneally and Katy Gallagher issued a statement to deny the “hurtful” claims against them. Senator Wong also said she apologised to Senator Kitching two years ago for telling her she would not understand the importance of acting on climate change because she was childless.
