Turnbull lashes PM for calling police commissioner

The former PM said Scott Morrison's decision to ring the NSW Police regarding Angus Taylor was not something he would have done.

Malcolm Turnbull has criticised Prime Minister Scott Morrison's decision to ring the NSW Police Commissioner regarding the investigation into Angus Taylor, saying it's not something he would have done.

With Labor already questioning Mr Morrison's judgment for making the call, Mr Turnbull told Sky News "it would have been better if it had not been made'' because it raised the spectre of political interference.
