The federal opposition has expressed fears the government will cut the number of questions it can ask in parliament to reflect the vastly changed numbers on the floor of the House of Representatives following the May 3 election.
Already, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has slashed the Coalition’s senior staff entitlement by 21 people, even though it still has to stump up 30 shadow ministers to match the government’s frontbench.
