Thailand could be next cab off the TPP rank

Canberra | Members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade deal are keen for Thailand to join the pact as part of a regional push to cut supply chain dependency on China.

The Thai government last week received a report from bureaucrats about the pros and cons of joining the TPP, with resistance from farmers seen as the biggest obstacle.
