Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has brushed off grumblings from other South-East Asian countries that his government paid superstar Taylor Swift enough to ensure the wealthy city-state was the only regional stop on her world tour.
Singapore’s monopoly on Swift’s performances in South-East Asia struck a rare note of disharmony on the sidelines of the summit of leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Melbourne.
