Tax reform, red tape and faster approvals top business wish list

A coalition of 27 business and industry organisations has called for a fresh, three-month inquiry into tax reform with a view to the government taking changes to the next federal election.

But by calling for yet another review, business aims to avoid the summit becoming bogged down in a tax debate so it can focus instead on delivering more readily achievable outcomes in such areas as deregulation AI and development approvals.
