Senate urged to pass NDIS bill to get reforms back on track

Senators have been urged to pass controversial reforms to cap runaway costs for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, despite claims recommendations to reduce supports could be disastrous for the most severely disabled.
One NDIS participant told senators he would refuse to leave his home if the government adopts a recommendation to reduce day to day support for the severely disabled.
