Prime Minister Scott Morrison will not put a timeline on the introduction of greater protections for gay students as he doubles down on plans to reintroduce contentious religious discrimination laws if the Coalition is re-elected.
Mr Morrison says changes to the Sex Discrimination Act to protect gay students will be dealt with “sequentially” after laws to boost discrimination protections for religious people.
