A third non-citizen released from indefinite detention after last month’s High Court ruling has been arrested, worsening the political crisis enveloping the Albanese government.

A day after it was confirmed that a man had been arrested in Adelaide on indecent assault charges, and another in Sydney for alleged minor drug offences, Victorian police arrested a former ringleader of a child exploitation gang on Tuesday.
