Letters: What’s happened to Qantas
Depressing business class flight; PwC personnel can’t deny knowing; RBA board membership; CFO pay; more fracking in NT; Trump followers can’t be dismissed.
I’ve recently come back from holidays in Europe with my wife. I had limited choice in airlines this time, paying $20,000 for the pleasure of business class but reluctantly using Qantas and Finnair. We are retired and only travel every three to four years, and so after COVID-19 this was supposed to be our luxury trip.
Well, what an absolute disaster Qantas business class has become. If we put aside the Qantas outbound leg to Hong Kong – in which my cubicle had not been cleaned, with food spills everywhere and unvacuumed seats and floor – imagine my absolute sadness on the Qantas QF52 return leg from Singapore to Brisbane.
