Chief Minister Andrew Barr will take ACT Labor into a seventh term of government, after securing victory in Saturday’s territory election.
After 23 years in power, the party will retain government in the national capital despite a swing to the Canberra Liberals. Labor will again govern with the help of the Greens. The party was on track on Saturday night to win 10 seats in the 25-person Legislative Assembly.
