Calgary | Donald Trump’s abrupt exit from the G7 summit to deal with the escalating Middle East crisis has left Anthony Albanese in the dark about the future of the AUKUS military pact and trade tariffs, a blow to the prime minister, who is yet to sit down with his US counterpart.
The White House announced the departure immediately after Albanese held a press conference to outline what he expected from the bilateral meeting with Trump, scheduled for Wednesday AEST.
