One of the five departmental secretaries sacked in the public service shake-up has flamed Prime Minister Scott Morrison over what he says was a complete lack of consultation.
Mike Mrdak, who was dumped when his Department of Communications was rolled into a new super department, has told staff in a farewell email that "I was told of the Government’s decision to abolish the Department late yesterday afternoon".
