Hours after a report on bad behaviour, MPs were back to the old ways

Just a few hours after the Jenkins report shone the spotlight on behavioural standards of politics – again – both chambers descended into old school unedifying conduct, a product of the approaching election and a recognition that politics will always, ultimately be combative.

Should Scott Morrison call a March election next year, this will be the final sitting week for this term of Parliament.
