Hillsong founder charged with concealing child sex crimes

Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston has been charged by NSW Police over allegedly concealing child sex offences committed by his father against a young boy in the 1970s.

Mr Houston, credited by Prime Minister Scott Morrison in his first speech to Parliament as a key spiritual mentor, has since 2019 been the subject of a police investigation into what he knew about abuse by his father.
