It was an open secret: Sky News host Paul Murray was on a promise from Scott Morrison to score the state visit’s only one-on-one interview with President Donald Trump. Murray even broadcast his “after dark” program in broad daylight from Washington DC for an entire week in advance of the Prime Minister’s arrival.

Unluckily, POTUS spent nearly the entire week elsewhere, addressing a rally in New Mexico on Monday, then fundraising in California.
