Gambling ad ban MPs to go over Rowland’s head and lobby PM direct
A delegation of backbench Labor MPs is planning to lobby Anthony Albanese on gambling advertising and plead with him to embrace a total television and social media ban.
A meeting with the prime minister was yet to be confirmed late on Wednesday, but the direct approach over the head of Communications Minister Michelle Rowland illustrates growing frustration in Labor ranks over the party’s position.
