The Future Fund abstained from voting to return Jane Halton as a director at Crown Resort’s 2020 AGM and opposed key James Packer lieutenant Guy Jalland and then deputy chairman John Horvath.

Australia’s sovereign wealth fund also opposed several motions from activist shareholders on climate change, curtailing fossil fuel investment, and cultural and environmental heritage issues in the 2020 AGM season.
