Everyone arriving in Australia must now undergo self-isolation for 14 days as the government braces for a worse-case scenario of as many as 4 million people contracting coronavirus over the next six months.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison dramatically ramped up the government's response on Sunday, warning that the aim now was to slow over time an expected rapid spread of the virus so the health system was not overwhelmed and unable to save lives.
