Former Wentworth MP Dave Sharma has nominated to take retiring NSW Liberal moderate Marise Payne’s place in the Senate.
Mr Sharma, who lost his lower house seat to teal Allegra Spender at the 2022 election, will go up against a field of at least nine other candidates, including former NSW transport minister Andrew Constance and former ACT senator Zed Seselja.
