Film and TV industry bids for boosted production subsidies
Australia's film and television industry has warned the Morrison government that $900 million in foreign investment could be at risk if subsidies for local productions are exhausted.
Industry leaders and the Australia New Zealand Screen Association (ANZSA) met with senior MPs at Parliament House on Monday, amid concerns the nation could lose out on major overseas productions to countries including Canada, the US and Britain.
