At-risk Liberal MP Celia Hammond says religious freedom laws should not come into effect until after separate concerns about protections for LGBTQ students are resolved by parliament.

Christian Schools Australia is also calling on whoever forms government after May 21 to resurrect the torpedoed faith laws before passing changes to the Sex Discrimination Act as recommended by the Australian Law Reform Commission.
