‘Everything up in the air’: Higgins won’t front Reynolds defamation trial

Former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins will not take the witness stand in a high-profile defamation trial in Perth amid new concerns about her health.
Lawyers for Ms Higgins told WA’s Supreme Court on Monday that they would not require her to attend the trial, citing confidential documents concerning her wellbeing and saying they did not believe her appearance was necessary to defend her case.
